Is your need to please others
a friend or a foe?

I used to believe that being a people-pleaser
was my superpower.
I liked being known as 'easy-going'.
I liked being liked.
I was addicted to the approval and the
praise of others.
However, by constantly putting the needs of others before my own,
I soon lost sight of myself.
I lost knowing how to make decisions for myself, or how to confidently back myself.
I couldn't say 'no' when I really needed to!
In the end, I let myself down, and others too.
I'm happy to say that this all changed once I understood these clear differences.
